Global Volunteers
Volunteers are often called the heart of LifeVista and an important component in the quest to make great Social Impact in Aging Demographics in Chinese Diaspora.
A volunteer’s role is to provide comfort, care and support to the Community of Modern Agers and their caregivers by assisting LifeVista and staff in meeting those needs through Befrienders’ Friendship.
LifeVista Volunteer Services staff hope to recruit more than 1,000 volunteers globally working in volunteer-based programs. In fact, there are more than 100 types of positions for volunteers.
Our volunteers are:
• Compassionate, motivated, committed and trained
• Good communicators with a desire to help Modern Agers in Home Care Setting and caregivers by providing a sounding-board listening ears
• Diverse in age, gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic background
• Adults and college students available day, evening or weekends
• Some have had a personal or family experience with Caregiving.
Each volunteer will be awarded a certificate of participation via email.

Volunteering Opportunities
SilverEco, Age, Innovation, Faith and Longevity Virtual Conference 2018
Date: 7th to 8th and 10th December 2018
Time: 2-hour time slots from 7 am to 10 pm each day
Meals will be provided for volunteers.
Training will be provided for volunteers before the event.
Roles Needed:
Administrative Assistance
Provides administrative assistance in all paperwork, filing, and accounting during the duration of the virtual conference.
Counselor
Interacts with Conference attendees and render assistance for them if required.
Researcher
Conducts multidisciplinary research that is linked to aging issues, including innovation.
IT Support
Ensures smooth running of the virtual conference and maintains the video broadcasting and streaming or the prerecorded videos. Facilitates online interaction and questionnaires (eg. sli.do).

First 50 members to sign up by 30 November 2018 in each country in the Chinese Diaspora will have the seat of Honour!
With our FIRST Community Thanksgiving Meal we are encouraging our Family of Members in the Chinese Diaspora to make this Event a success in your country by serving at the meal in the Community Town Hall.
As a reminder, we are offering two seatings at noon at 12 PM & 3 PM.
